Black Ash Pack Basket
Workshop Fee: $288.00
Weave an approximately 18” tall traditional Adirondack style pack basket with cedar runners and base and adjustable webbing harness. This basket is made to last and be used. The workshop is two full days and will include a discussion and demo on how the material is harvested and processed. This workshop is suitable for all experience levels. It does require a decent amount of hand strength to cut and work the material.
Skills and Techniques:
- constructing a base
- cutting splints to length and width
- weaving and shaping the basket
- lashing a rim
- riveting a harness of webbing
Materials Fee: $220 paid directly to the instructor.
