American Geometric Rug Hooking
Workshop Fee: $280.00
Explore a piece of Americana as Stephanie shares her knowledge and experience of geometric hooked rugs. Through her 40 years of repairing rugs, Stephanie has developed a special appreciation for rugs designs dating back to the late 1800’s and she has compiled a collection of designs that she will show you how to replicate. Through class discussion, photographs, and hand-outs, students will be given specific information on the basic technique of rug hooking, as well as how to create a geometric design that can be developed during class time. Color planning will also be developed from the wool that students bring and from wool available from the teacher. Stephanie will also bring many of her geometric rugs to display.
