For those who have completed Bowl Turning Basics with Claude, we’re excited to offer the next step in your woodturning journey. This special class is designed for returning students who have a once-turned bowl that has dried and is ready for its final shaping.

The day begins with a quick refresher on safety and sharpening, ensuring everyone is confident and ready at the lathe. From there, Claude will guide you through refined turning techniques, careful sanding, and the artistry of finishing. The focus is on precision and detail—transforming your rough-turned piece into a finished bowl that reflects both function and beauty.

If your first piece didn’t survive the drying process or if you’d like to take on an additional project, once-turned bowls will be available for purchase. The class will culminate with a discussion of finishing options, tailored to how you envision your bowl being used—whether in the kitchen, at the table, or as a decorative work of art.
