This Weekend: Open Farm Day, Sunday, July 24
Make plans to visit Sanborn Mills Farm this coming Sunday, July 24, when the Farm will be open for visitors. Demonstrations in our sawmill and grist mill as well as demonstrations of working with draft animals will occur throughout the day. In addition, the gardens will be open and our gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. Light refreshments will be on sale in the Dining Hall.
The Farm will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and we’d love to see you at Open Farm Day this year. Suggested donation for Open Farm Day is $5-$10 per adult, with funds going toward the Sanborn Mill Farm Scholarship Program.
NOTE: The weather forecast calls for Sunday to be hot and humid. We will have water stations placed around the Farm, and there are several spots with lots of shade. Please dress appropriately and be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

Celebrate the first Farm to Table Dinner at Sanborn Mills Farm,
August 20
Join us at the Farm on Saturday evening, August 20, for a truly special event: the first Farm to Table Dinner at Sanborn Mills Farm. Our chef Kelly Fahey will prepare a sumptuous meal from ingredients grown here on the Farm, accompanied by local wine, to be served on elegantly appointed tables in the historic Sanborn Barn. Before and after the meal, bid on a variety of craft and gift items during the Silent Auction.
All proceeds from the Dinner and Auction will benefit the Sanborn Mills Scholarship Program, which helps deserving students defray the cost of attending a workshop at the Farm. (For more information about our Scholarship Program, click here. Note: the link for applications is not yet live.)
