Teach A Workshop

Workshop Proposal

Sanborn Mills Farm is a non-profit adult craft school located in rural Loudon, New Hampshire. We are a center for the renewal of the human spirit, a place to cultivate creativity and joy, and an anchor for our individual, collective, and shared experiences. Sanborn Mills Farm’s mission is to teach traditional crafts and farming methods while sustainably using our field and forest resources for its workshops and events whenever possible. We are dedicated to providing top quality instruction to our students who are both local and travel long distances to study with us. SMF currently supports a faculty of 40+ instructors over a series of 70+ workshops annually. The season runs from April through November with workshops ranging from 1 to 5 days. The daily schedule begins at 9 am and ends at 5 pm with a one-hour break for lunch. Sanborn Mills Farm is invested in featuring local talent but also recruits instructors of national reputation to lead our workshops. We are generally looking in the first half of the year for the following year’s instructors. However, you are welcome to complete the following form at any time of the year to be considered. Once we receive your application, we will contact you if we find you are a good fit for our school or have any questions. Thank you for your interest in teaching at Sanborn Mills Farm. We look forward to carefully reviewing your proposal.
