Sanborn Mills Farm is now working with three videographers to create moving images to supplement content on the Farm’s website. We will also use video for other communication materials, promotions, and marketing.

John Gfroerer, who is a well-known documentarian, is our main videographer, and he was at the Farm this week to film draft animals, some of the gardens, the in-progress spiral staircase, and general scenes, including interviews with teamster Lars Prillaman, farm manager Ray Ramsey, and head carpenter Kevin Schurman. Some of this material will be edited into a new banner video that’ll appear on the landing page at www.sanbornmills.org — look for it a little later this month.

We’re also working with Ridgelight Studio for drone videography, which will also be included in banner videos. And freelancer Lillis Meeh will film some events and projects for us.

We’re very excited by this new direction in communications at the Farm, and are privileged to be working with John, Ridgelight, and Lillis. Eventually, most if not all of the webpages at the Farm’s website will feature videos.

John Gfroerer films Jenny and Tulip, not to mention Lars and Kelsey, in action at the sawmill pond.
