Shaker Style Oval Jewelry Box
Workshop Fee: $288.00
In this class, students will make 2 Shaker style oval boxes. One of the boxes will house a removable tray for jewelry or other small keepsakes. Students will hand shape the band details before heating, bending, and tacking bands into their traditional oval shape. They will then fit bottoms and lids before cleaning the boxes in preparation for finish. We will talk about future finishing option as well as some history of these objects.
