Lucas Fowler
Lucas Fowler grew up in rural central Montana. He landed in New Hampshire attending Dartmouth College for four years and graduating in 2002. By the end of that year, Lucas found himself working with some very talented crafts persons on a house in Durham, NH. Soon he was working with timber frame and log style buildings. In 2005, Lucas went to work for Mink Hill Timber Frames in Bradford, NH. For the next 13 years he honed his skills as a timber framer, working both in the western tradition and in the Japanese tradition. Lucas started Lion Creek Design in 2018. Working out of his barn in Andover, NH, Lucas, along with a few other talented crafts people, now produces a variety of timber frame products, including structural brackets, pavilions, and houses and barns.
Lucas lives with his wife, daughter, mother-in-law and dog in a house he built for his family in Andover, NH. When he is not spending time with his daughter or working in the garden with his wife, Lucas enjoys pedaling his bike around the many trails and back roads of rural NH.
