Jon Siegel 

I have been turning wood for 60 years, and most of that time I have specialized in spindle turning for furniture and architectural applications.  I am one of the founders of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers, an organization dedicated to woodworking education, and have just completed my second term as President.  I am a former member of the New Hampshire 

Furniture Masters Association.  I have written many articles for the Guild Journal, and other woodworking publications.  Lately I have been making instructional videos for the Guild YouTube Channel.

For ten years I taught high-school shop classes; both wood and metal, and I still consider teaching to be an important part of my life.  Now I spend most of my time pursuing my favorite activities:  making pool cues, and restoring antique machinery.
